The best place to live ? 13 September 2006
HUTTON Cranswick has been named best village in a competition which pitted East Yorkshire
villages against each other. Judges unanimously awarded the Wolds village the title
after being impressed by the community spirit displayed by residents. More on this
New Speed Limit on the A164 27 July 2006
MOTORISTS travelling along the A164 Driffield to Beverley road will need to slow
down as they pass through Hutton Cranswick. The Speed Limit through the village
has been reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph.ough the normal channels. The new limit was
agreed upon at a meeting involving the Parish Council and the local Police.
